The Kroc Center Pool Rules and Expectations
The lifeguard’s job is to enforce pool rules and keep all patrons safe. Everyone is expected to follow the rules. If rules are not being followed, the lifeguard may ask patrons to sit out or leave the event, depending on the severity. The lifeguards always have the final say on keeping the pool safe.
- All participants must shower before entering the pool. This helps keep our pool clean.
- We do not allow any pictures or videos in the aquatic center. This helps keep all our members and guests at the Kroc Center safe.
- We ask that all participants adhere to the Salvation Army aquatic dress code. Appropriate swim attire should be worn during the event. No street clothes are allowed in the pool.
- If a child is not potty trained, they are required to wear a tight-fitting swim diaper. No regular diapers are allowed in the pool.
- All participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire scheduled program.
- Children under 48 inches may wear coastguard approved life jackets only and must have a parent within arm’s reach in all areas of the pool except for zero-entry.
