What’s the difference between the Iron Kroc Challenge and ‘Tri’ the Kroc?
‘Tri’ the Kroc is a professionally timed, one-day triathlon. The Iron Kroc Challenge is a monthlong fitness adventure. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned athlete, the Iron Kroc Challenge is for you! For more serious athletes, the Iron Kroc Challenge is a great way to train for your next triathlon!
What does it entail?
Participants will swim 2.4 miles (86 laps), cycle 112 miles, and 26.2 miles during the month of March. The legs of the Iron Kroc Challenge are based on Iron Man Triathlon distances and can be completed in any order. Distances must be recorded on your log sheet and kept at the Fitness Desk.
What if I can’t swim?
You can also complete the Iron Kroc Challenge by walking the lazy river. 125 laps is equal to 2.4 miles.
